The “Kelso’s Choice Wheel” features a vibrant visual problem-solving solutions, designed to complement the Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management Program. This poster serves as an excellent visual aid to keep children motivated and aware of various strategies to solve problems and reduce tattling.
The poster is double-sided, with one side tailored for grades K-3 and the other for grades 4-5. Each pack includes 25 posters, perfect for students to keep in their binders as a reminder of the choices they have learned and can use when facing conflicts.
On the Grade K-3 side, it showcases colorful and engaging illustrations of Kelso the frog, demonstrating the nine different choices for K-3 aged students to use when encountering a “small” problem—one they can feel empowered to solve independently, as opposed to a “big” problem that should be reported to an adult.
On the Grade 4-5 side, this help reinforce Kelso’s Choices in older elementary students with the tween-friendly design. A colorful visual featuring Kelso Wheel which is comprised of four verbal problem-solving solutions and four nonverbal problem-solving solutions to use during “minor” problems. The poster directs students to tell an adult they trust if they ever encounter a “SERIOUS” problem.
